Laithwaites, can anyone help?

^^^^Very odd.
If they have been shipping wine to someone then they should(?) have an address.0 -
I used to get wine from them via Sainsbury's Wine Club but cancelled when they sent an extra unsolicited but chargeable case of wine one Christmas. Their 'excuse' was 'we thought you may want more wine for Christmas' - when I explained it was my decision not theirs if I wanted to spend £80 odd they apologised. Mind you I cancelled as I was so angry to think that they were merrily taking my money without any consent.0

Statements ! mental note to self, check them as it's my responsibility to do so!!!0 -
I've found Laithwaites to be very good as well ....and you can buy a single case of wine without any "plan" to sign up for. However, the regular plan you seem to have got is pushed very heavily in all their ads & offer, but is is quite clear what you are agreeing to.
I'd be more concerned with checking where the wine has gone ... it appears to have been regularly delivered, so should be quite a stack somewhere !0 -

Completely disagree - we've been on one of their wine plans for several years now.
You get a lot of leaflets from them with Amazon orders and from other places offering a cheap case of wine. However, it's pretty clear if you read it that it's a quarterly wine plan with a discounted first box. This is also clear in the online sign-up process.
We actually use the Sunday Times Wine Club and it's branded as such but run by Laithwaites, who run a lot of the wine clubs that you see in newspapers. They also run it under their own name.
To contradict what an earlier poster said, we don't get any notice when a new order is coming. It's just automatically shipped and charged every three months. We know when it's due because we're down to our last bottle of wine. :rotfl:
The wine we get works out to about £7 a bottle and we have never had a bad bottle. We find it to be substantially better quality wine than that you get from the supermarket at this price.
Not sure how much OP spends a month on their credit card but a charge of £86.98 is quite a large amount to miss.
OP - if you signed up online you should be able to log in on their website and see your order history. This will also show your shipping address.0 -
Sounds like one of your fil's neighbours has been pinching the boxes left in the porch.0

Is the wine still in the porch??
If I were you, you should bug them about the signing for it, as no one has signed for any of them, then you should argue the case that this is proof of not recieving them.
There must be something you can do, and why are they not sending out quarterly emails to you about this?
Ask the CAB perhaps??
