The door handle on my daughter's bedroom door broke while she was in there and we ended up having to kick the door in. The door survived but the door frame broke, with one of the long sides coming away from the wall.
The property is rented and the landlord has apparently been quoted £300 to have it fixed, to come out of our deposit. We're in London, but this seems ridiculously expensive. Does anyone know if that seems fair?
