over the air software updates for LG DVD-HDD recorders,how long do they take?

I have a LG RHT399H freeview equipped dvd hard drive recorder which has received an over the air software update today at lunchtime,which is still on and downloading. How many hours do the downloads for these recorders take to update the software,does anybody know?

    Anything upto a month depending on how much bandwidth there is spare from the transmitter.Broadcasts will always have priority over updates.

    wrong,the manual says it should take no more than a few hours.

    This doesnt take into account your local transmitter bandwidths spare capacity to carry out the over the air update.

    You may find it stopping and starting.

    it shouldnt take more than a few days or at the very least a week at most to update the recorder's freeview digital tuner.
