hi, how come some peoples posts don't have a thanks button?

They do. At least for me. Perhaps your pages aren't loading properly or something?0

As quintwins has said, when you're logged in everyone should have a thanks button except you as you can't thank yourself.
It all seems normal to me at the moment, but just in case there's a problem I've moved your thread over to the site feedback board where the forum team are more likely to see it.
