Lego Mini Figures - Is there a list to tell you what's inside the packet?

Hi,

One of my sons has started collecting Lego Mini Figures.

He hasn't got any duplicates yet, but I'm sure I read on here a while ago that there is some sort of list which tells you which figure is in the bag (something to do with the barcode I think:o).

I have tried doing a quick search, but couldn't find anything.

Can anyone help?

If you're talking series three there are dots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/50381011@N06/5426041569/ although I have to say they didn't work for me, and gave me a 40% hit rate.

Better, if you can, to zone into the bags, give them a fondle and try to identify the accessories- eg microphone for the rapper/ shield for the elf/ fish for the angler. I now have a 100% strike rate
As far as I know series four (out in mid april) will have dots too so I foresee more bag- fondling for me in the coming weeks!

Where are these dots for series 3 and 4? My DS just bought one and got the Snowboarder, but I can't see the dots on the packet??

Last thing you want is duplicates when they are £2 each for a small figure!!
