Hi guys,
Can anybody recommend a USB stick for me?
I'm looking between 4gb - 16gb to transfer movies/music/pictures etc. The faster the better.
Between £5-£10 ??
Thanks

Price, speed, size - pick two, at the expense of the other.
From experience, the slow (but cheap) USB drives I bought rarely get any use. You get genuine value for money by getting a fast USB drive simply because you'll use them all the time.
You're not going to get a 16gb <£11.99, let alone a speedy one. A properly fast 16gb is normally >£20, and you would be looking at Corsair and Patriot. Similarly, fast 8gb USB drives are still around £15 & upwards.
I would sooner get this:
8gb Patriot XT Boost 200x for £14.61

than this:
Cheap 16gb Play.com branded £11.99, "minimum 3mb/sec"

You may also find it useful to get a cheap SD card if the devices you plan to transfer files support it. For instance:
Trascend 8gb Class 10 (10mb/sec write) for £7.19

Faster than any 8gb USB drive at that price.0 -
