Solar Heating - grant aid and advice?

Yes apologies, poor typing.... should have read
Solar Water heating and 2.05 Kwh PV panels installed.
I have 10 sanyo 205w panels making 2050w in a PV array.
I also have 2.4 msq of schott evacuated tubes for hot water. As an example my teenager used the shower today and i monitored the usage, gas never came on and despite dull weather the solar array heated the tank back up to 55c in about 20 minutes. Quite impressive.
Of course the return on investment will be a long way out I have no doubt of that.

The investment cost would be interesting though!0 -
Of course about £8,500 for all installed and working. I did a lot of the preparation work and post install work myself. Now I can find the PV panels cheaper if you order from the USA.
I made a decision to over specify the inverter of the PV array to allow for expansion should I so wish in future. Saves on the cost a new or additional one.
Ideally I'd like eventually to install a battery charged system to reduce even further reliance on the utility companies.
So a ROI is long ... when the sun shines I smile ....
Any further questions ask.0 -
So am I right in thinking that's:
£390 per annum for an investment of £8,500 (or is the exported energy in addition?)
So a real yield of 4.6%.
Still a very long payback, but better than I thought the current state of PV was. Is it easy to split the costs/benefits of the PV and the evacuated tubes?
