The answer to my humungous Oil Heating Bill!!!

Just had the bill for heating my house this winter, I could cry!!!

But I have found the answer!

I am going to turn it of and buy us all blankets

found these throws along with hotwater bottles with 50% off

http://www.celtica-wales.com/department/textile_clearance_items/

Joking asid, It works out at over £60 a week to heat my house. How can we all afford to live in this country now!!

I tried to buy from this website's clearance before, they took my money quick enough then took weeks to tell me the item I wanted was out of stock and refund me.

Have bought several items from them no probs, had a similar experience with an Avoca dress reduced to a tenner, but they did refund it quickly

they now seem to give stock quantities , so maybe this used to be an issue which has been sorted

    Yes! Oil is expensive
One way of saving a few pence is www.boilerjuice.com
I've used them for quite a few years now and they always seem to come up with the best price. They find the best price and then reduce it further if someone else is ordering in your locality.
There's also graph of oil price trends.

PS .... but DirectOil (see below) is a better price

I just couldn't afford to buy oil this winter. We've very kindly been given 2 calor gas heaters from a freecycler and they have been a godsend. Other than that, it's a few layers of clothing.:D

Im on a prepay electric meter. I have saved a bit during my recent financial crisis by staying at work an hour later and leaving for work 30 mins earlier. Id rathe read paper and catch up on net stuff on their heat then mine. I also tend to go to bed dead early and read. Why read in a chair if I can lay in bed all warm.

    Bit desperate but needs must
