Which grass seed?
After the winter we have had, my lawn has taken a really bad hit. Lots of bald patches and the dog is not helping.
I am going to reseed the lawn but am baffled by all the different makes of grass seed. I don't want anything with rye grass and definately no meadow grass.
Can anyone recommend a make of grass seed to use? Once I get it, I am going to use the electric lawn rake and then I have ordered some fleece to put over the lawn to stop the birds from taking the seed. The ones I have been looking at are Augusta lawn seed and Canada Green but am looking for advice. Have read good and bad reviews on the Canada Green.
Please help.

Rye grass is tough and more likely to withstand dogs and footballs etc it is often including in grass seeds for that reason.
I would buy a family lawn seed, unless its in shade, then I'd buy shady lawn seed.
Having just looked at Wilkinson's site, they have a good choice of seed at reasonable prices.
