Hi, I wonder if anyone can help??
Is it possible to connect a wii and use a lap top as a screen instead of the TV? Do I need to buy anything???
Really not that techie, so simple terms please.
Thanks

You are going to need a USB Video Capture Adapter, an RCA Connector and a pretty good Laptop.
You will need to install Ulead Videostudio on the laptop in order to view the gameplay. Get it HERE
I've done this with a Wii and a 360 and it works very well, although the picture isn't brilliant.

thanks for the reply, and the links. One question, isn't the RCA connector the plugs that normally go into the tv, i.e. it comes with the wii? Looking at mine and it looks the same, only its plugged into a scart atm.

Hi
I wondered the same thing and Im sure whats been mentioned works
but I called up a Nintendo line and they sent me the cable I needed for free. You could always do that if you wanted it for free hehe
