Hi there, if you go to adders.org - you can find a number of people who have started similar ADHD groups and also a lot of information about the conditions/co morbids and help available.

I belong to a support group which is for parents of children with any form of special educational need. It was first started by 3 women with the support of the local school and childrens centre. They were given a room to use for free and the school senco offered to help by answering parenst questions. Sometimes it was just 2 people but now, 18 months on it has spiralled! We now habe to use a room in the school as the group is too big, always atleast 10 parents, with an email list of 30!
Guest speakers some weeks, just cake and chat others. The lady who runs it is invited to council meetings as a parent representative.
I have been to a group started in my local area but it didn't work.
    The reason I think are:
    *the location changed each time
    *located in peoples houses
    *date changed each month
The simple same time, same place and cake worked best

    Good luck
