Mobile Phone Providers - Disclosure of Call made

This is the scenario - a person is blamed for making a malicious call on his mobile to another number. That person then claims that he has called his mobile phone provider and has asked them to confirm over the phone (with loudspeaker on, so that others can hear) that he did NOT make that particular malicious call to that other number.
Maybe some forum members that have worked in mobile phone call centres can confirm that this would or would not be possible to do.
Any opinions or knowledge in this area would be appreciated.

A telco should be able to advise whether a call was made or not. But this mystery person could have called his mum and asked her to confirm over the loudspeaker that the call had not been made, when it actually had. Who knows?0 -

Yes, thst would be an option later when the bill is received, however I was wanting to know whether a customer service person would disclose that directly over the phone the day after the call was allegedly made.0 -

Thanks for that. Yes, I suspect that another person was on the loudspeaker and not a mobile phone provider "person".
Anyway, this will remain a mystery. The person who initiated the call to the mobile phone provider asked the "customer service person" if he had made a call to any of 3 organisations. He referred to the organisations by name and not by number..but apparently the "customer service person" came back almost immediately to confirm that no calls had been made.
I find this highly unlikely that a customer service person would even entertain looking up the relevant number on some phone directory, let alone 3 and checking the account, to tell a customer over the phone that he had not made the calls. Anyway, as I said, maybe we will never know if this person was truthful or not, or if the mobile phone rep was a real one.
Thanks to all who replied.0
