Two Home Insurance Policies

Just had a letter from Lloyds advising I have two polices

1st covering buildings only
2nd covering buildings and contents

Both were taken out in 2006 11/06 & 12/06

I can recall going to one of those bank "reviewing your account meetings" and the bank advising me on home insurance and how changing the policy could save me money and signing up but no further details.

I have called and they are cancelling the 1st and the "Dual Insurance Team" will be contacting me to advise of any refund - possibly 50% - in the next 30 days.

Any advice?

Is 50% refund correct?
