Ummmmmmmmm i recall the OFT telling me that they werent aware that Apex Dcm had a Consumer Credit Licence soooooo what does that also tell you, me wonders. The question is could the OFT monitor the Invisible Man stealing haribo from a sweet shop.......

They say about monitoring, how can they when they dont know whos got a licence.

and then there is this.

They also dont know the term "trading" either cos when DCM was still "trading" they said nothing to do with them need to speak to the insolvency service only for the insolvency service to redirect you to the OFT.

So in short BIS what is the OFT actually doing, perhaps they need some guidance as well as the debt management companies they are trying to guide.

its like the criminal being lead by the blind and deaf.

It does make you wonder tho all this activity seems to have come about since the demise of APEX/DCM and even the debt doctor. SOOOOO if your that concerned about the activity of the directors of such companies why have you not called in the police to investigate these directors. Would it have anything to do with the fact that it if you did what would come to light would be that what you say you should be doing to protect people against such criminality isnt REALLY what your actually doing (being polite!!!) and basically the common held belief that your a complete waste of space and effort is true and that you should be shutdown and perhaps replaced with something that actually does protect the consumers against such criminals.

The people who would do the job properly would be those that have lost money because of these schisters and are now bankrupt, we could probably run the OFT blind folded, so here is a message to you Mr David Fisher (OFT Director Of Consumer Credit) where the hell were you when we were being ripped off ??????? The OFT should be accountable for part of what has happened to us seeing as they totally failed us..

Typically changes come about when its too late and it takes 1 ok 2 companies to go down the plughole with millions of clients money before anything happens.

Seriously what the hell is going on with the damn system that was set up to protect the consumer. ITS NOT WORKING, Total Failure....

What would happen if 1040 ex APEX DCM Clients decided to take The OFT to court for compensation for their failings ???????

Well done Mike on your radio interview the other morning. I have just had a listen to it.
Will be looking out for the Rip Off show at the end of the month.

I hope life for all on this board is a little better, than it has been.

At the moment it has for me, no more pesting phones calls and dare I say far less worrying for me, being the wife of a hubands who used the company DCM to help him, with his debt problems. We have another 4 years of paying with Cleardebt, to hopefully be free from everything we owe.
