CCJ Advice please

Hi,
Recently my circumstances changed and I found myself coping with all the household expenses and I could not carry on paying my debts. I have since set up payments with several of my creditors with the help of National Debtline however I have one creditor that has applied for a CCJ.
I received the court papers which I completed and sent back to the creditor and then have since received a letter from the court to say my creditor did not accept my payment and told me I needed to pay £430 per month.
I called National Debtline who advised me to send the court directly my expense sheet which I have done (see below).
Wages £1238
Rent £350
Council Tax £90
TV License £13
Electricity / Gas £85
TV / Internet / Phone £40 (Until August)
Mobile £18 (Until June)
Petrol £150
Insurance £55
Mot / Tax £15
Prescriptions £10
Clothes £20
Emergency £20
Housekeeping £205
Total £1071
I originally had £20 for meals at work and £225 housekeeping – I offered my creditors £43 (which is pro rata with my other debts) which they declined – I have written to the court offering them £80 (difference in meals at work and housekeeping) increasing to £100 once my mobile contract ends and £140 once the tv / internet contract finishes. Please can anyone advise what happens now? I am really worried that I am going to have to try and pay this £430 per month and struggle to live.
Many Thanks in advance

Presumably that expense sheet was accompanied by a request for a redetermination by the court?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi Fermi,
Thanks for your quick response - National Debtline advised me that the court in question prefers letters which is what I sent.
Thanks0 -
Northampton? The vast bulk of claims go through there.
A request for a redetermination is just done via a letter.
Assuming that it was asking for a redetermination, whether they called it that or not, then the court will look again at the amount that has been ordered.
If the court in question is not your local one, then the case should be transferred to your local county court so a judge there can make the decision.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Yes it was and thanks - It is all a bit over my head!
I don't mind that I have to deal with it - I fully want to pay it back and get it sorted, I just don't know how these things work and that scares me a bit.
Many Thanks for your responses.0 -
Well, you'll have to wait now and see what happens.
Hopefully the local judge will take a proper look at what you can afford and order a sensible amount.
Most of the decisions on what to pay at Northampton seem to be made by the court staff, rather than directly by a judge, and they often come up with some crazy figures.
