New tax credits claim

Hi everyone
Basically just called Tax credits to tell them my partner has now moved back in. I have cancelled all my benefits, income support, housing benefit etc. I have just been informed I now need to wait 7-10 days for the new claim form and then up to 4 weeks for it to process. My partner has no money at the moment and doesn't get paid until the 25th which then he will pay all the bills leaving nothing. At the moment I have £40 in my account and two babies. Partner needs to drive 30 miles to work now that he has moved in here or pay £5 a day bus fare. How the heck am I supposed to live on £40 for nearly 6 weeks?!
Is there anything I can do??
This is impossible.
Thanks for any advice

probasbly get shot down in flames for suggesting this, but as being as it is only for 3 weeks, it not as if you would be milking the country dry, could you have not held off telling the tax credits that your partner had moved back in and not cancelled your benefits until your partner had there money go back into there account, as it would only be for 3 weeks and at least then you would have had enough to see you through, and how would they have known when the partner moved back in(waits and ducks)Take every day as it comes!!0
