Charles Linden method?

I watched Lorraine on ITV1 this morning and they had Jemma Kidd on there talking about overcoming panic attacks using the Charles Linden method. Has anyone here had experience of using this? I have been living a half life due to my panic and anxiety. I really need to get living again before its too late.
I went to see what it was all about and it costs over £100 to get the support and information. It feels like a rip-off to me. What do you think?

Hi sammy, depends what's involved for that £100, if someone was going to come and counsel you, explain the system and help you with the first steps l'd say it was money well spent.

If they think sending you out a parcel of information is worth £100 then they want their heads testing.

I overcame agoraphobia in my teens by just going out everyday a little further than the last time - or at least as far as the day before, it took me years to be where l am today but l go abroad on holidays and eat out - things l thought l'd never do.

The best thing to do (maybe you do this already) is deep breathing it really helps to keep the panic down, deep breathes in and breathe out slowly no-one need know you're doing it.

You REALLY CAN do it, just keep plugging away everyday, perhaps set up a thread on here and chart your progress? Maybe there are other forums exactly for this kind of thing?

    What do you think? x

    Happy moneysaving all.

Hi, I've looked into this as well. From what I understand you get a guide CD and book to follow but you do get 24 hour access to counsellors etc. on the phone for your money. To be honest, I would say £100 to stop living a half life would be money very well spent. i didn't do it in the end (went for a more epxensive face to face option). But having read about it on various forums it seems that if you put in the effort with it it does benefit.

One thing that put me off the Charles Linden method is that you are asked to give up all other help. Have you looked into whether you are a chronic hyperventialtor?
