Long time reader, 1st time poster - could anyone assist me with this please?
My laptop has stopped recognising my ipod wen I plug it in. On PC startup I get the following message on screen:
Applesyncnotifier.exe - Unable to locate component.
This application has failed to start because CoreFoundation.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I have tried re-installing itunes but this has not fixed the problem.
Any advice would be really appreciated, thanks.

In some rare instances, it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
