Hi
Just had a sales call from SKY TV earlier trying to sell me GAS and ELECTRICITY.
The hook they offered was £30 petrol voucher (appealling at first sight) OR a weekend hotel break OR a Spa resort break.
The second hook they offered was that they have NO STANDING CHARGE like Scottish Power who supply me.
I was asked a few times during this presentation of benefits if I would like to try SKY.
It was only when I asked for the actual rates that I saw the warning.
It added up to an EXTRA £64 on my ELECTRIC and about the same on GAS... and that was just for 3 months.
Just shows.... that Maths grade in 1970 was worth getting.
WATCH OUT FOR SALES CALLS DIRECT TO HOMES.... and do the maths.
