O2 questions

1) That other thread has got me thinking about the O2 sim cards I've got here and I'm thinking about sticking this one on as a gold number...

07* 06 02 02 70

Does it look 'gold' to you? Worth a pop?

I got its next door neighbour too, is it better to giv it a go seperate or together or not at all??

07* 06 02 02 71

2) I have seen listings where you can buy instructions on how to get ur 300 txts free each month without topping up the £10 - as we are in the interest of money saving here I thought I might find the details on here if they were in the public domain but san't seem to find them. I'm not convinced it would actually work anyway but just wondered if others had tried it??

I would normally agree with you, but if you look at that thread you will see that they went for £18.70 each :)

As for a gold number..... try it.
    What you got to loose?
    About 50p listing fee's
I have found with O2 sims that you get better prices if you run a 10day auction and have it end around 9pm saturday.

    Re:Free TXT
Never tried it myself, but it goes something like this...
if say the 2nd is your top-up anniversary date, you use up all your txt's for that month, reset the date to the 1st of that month and do not use the phone until the next day (2nd).... you then get your 300 txt allowance again.
Put phone date back to where it was and enjoy your free txt's.

Thanks for the hints urbanite - i'm gonna give it a go and see what happens huh!! I was going to wait for 5p listing day but I guess everyone will be listing then and for the extra 50p or so I can list it today and get it to finish Saturday night!!

Can I post the item number on here once its live so u can all see, or is that against the rules? Its shouldnt be seen as promoting as i dont think anyone ere would want to buy it! lol!
