As I think i've mentioned somewhere before, I was recently having many problems with my dial up internet provided by AOL, so I changed to BT. Well the other day I couldn't log on, it'd try to dial, i'd get an engaged tone & then a message would appear on screen saying the line is busy. Anyway I called BT to see if they could help, but wasn't keen to do so after my endless problems with AOL. Anyway I needn't have worried!
The number was freephone, I spoke to one person who immediately transferred me to the right person to help, there was no annoying hold music which I hate & the person picked up right away, at no point was I kept waiting.
The guy immediately reassured me that the problem wasn't my end but theirs, they'd had other customers with the same queries & were working on it & it'd be back up & running within a short space of time. I know this isn't anything other than what you'd expect but to be transferred right off & talk to someone who knew exactly what the fault was & when it'd be fixed, who knew what I should do in the unlikely event that it wasn't & who was spot on was such a relief & I was left feeling confident they would do all they could if I ever had any concerns.
Needless to say i'll never be going back to AOL!
