Clarks outlet praise

A week ago I took my son for his new school shoes and tried many on but as he's 13 and size 9.5 he couldn't make up his mind what style he liked.
He wasnt sure what his mates wore but the young male shop assistant directed him towards 3 or 4 different styles. He eventually, after moaning and groaning, decided on a slip on pair which were a good fit and comfortable.........:D
Fast forward a week when the shoes had been sitting in his wardrobe (unboxed and stickers removed). He then declares to me that he actually preferred the lace up on he had tried on.
Scoured the house and couldn't find the receipt  !!!!!!.....
As I was going to the outlet again I popped them in a bag and had resigned myself to the fact that they were going on ebay as I had no receipt, no stickers and no box.
I explained everything to the manager and said that I knew she didn't have to do anything but she was great. She could see that they were new and they were their new style in, plus the male assistant could remember my huffing and puffing son.
She exchanged them there and then and I was so grateful to her.:j

A handy thing with the Clarks web site is that they will not sell you childrens' shoes directly - instead you order them to collect in store and only pay if they fit and you are happy. This means you can take advantage of sale prices on the website and not worry about having to send them back.0
