Yet another Boiler Quote

I have moved to a house with a ideal mexico cf100 floor standing boiler but the radiators take a long time to get warm. I have received (3) quotes and recommendations from local fitters but they all suggest something different.
The current system is open vented gravity system, stored hot water and 13 radiators
First quote Valliant 838 combi but no new gas supply £2,969.00 to include power flushing and (10) TRVs
Second quote Valliant 838 with new gas supply and £2,675.00 to include power flushing and TRVs
Third quote Valliant 624 system boiler £2,277.00 no new gas supply. To include flushing and TRVs
So far they all suggest that I replace the boiler.
Are the quotes fair?
I am confused and would like guidance. Thanks for comments

I would avoid the 838 and ask for an 837 instead.
The 838 has a special modulating pump which is very troublesome, unreliable and often very noisey.0 -
That's very interesting; thanks for the tip.0

Why dont you just get someone to correct the problem re the rads rather than paying out for a new boiler - and do you really want a combi boiler?0

Thats a fair point jcorgygas. My floor standing boiler is about 12 years old; when you are stood outside by the flu the heat being wasted is increadible. Therefore part of my investigations are based on energysaving and economy.
I am not a heating engineer so I have asked the people quoting to offer recommendations when I advised them of the heating symtoms. They all recommended replacing the boiler although after further clarification the guy who suggested a system boiler said that flushing of the system could help with my problem.
Can you suggest what the problem with the RADS could be?
Thanks for your help0 -

These prices do not seem unreasonable at all. Had my floor standing boiler replaced 12 months ago with a system boiler. House gets hotter much quicker and my gas bill has gone down by £20 a month. I paid £2200 including trvs, flush, water filter, and air trap. Consider your needs carefully before going for a combi. The only downside is that my utility room is now a bit chilly, the old boiler acted as a great big radiator, a modern condensing boiler gives off no heat at all.0 -
Thanks AirCooledHeaven, its sounds like your set-up was similar to mine. Currently my utility room is the warmest in the house. The dog is going to be really miffed when I eventually make the change.
How long does it take your water to get hot in your new arrangement. I have never had a system boiler before but my current system takes 25/30 minutess to warm up the tank. Thanks0 -

Ooops, sorry I have a conventional boiler, not a system boiler, that may affect the price comparison slightly. From a cold start my hot water cylinder reaches 50C in 15-20minutes.0 -
be carefull, if your house has 13 rads, then Im guessing you have more than 1 bathroom. a combi will cope with the rads, but may/will struggle with hot water demand.0
