Old Style Wedding Hamper for Newbie

Hi All
I'm really sorry in advance as I'm sure this will be merged because I've missed a relevant thread
OH and I are looking to do a hamper for SIL who is getting married next month (along with a veggie plant starter selection) - basically a simple old style starter kit (we are on a low budget so unfortunately can't go to extremes). We do have a rough idea of what we want in it but thought it would be wise to ask the experts in case we have missed anything crucial.
Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated
Thank you for looking

white vinegar & bicarb!
Stardrops.
Microfibre cloths.
Could you do her a personal recipe book?
You could buy a lovely note book & write down some nice thrifty recipes.

What a lovely idea. I would love to have received Butterfly Brain's baking hamper. If they're more into cooking savoury stuff than baking, you could do an equivalent with spices, pestle and mortar etc.0

Sewing kit, white cotton, black cotton, few needles, little scissors etc, see if you can pick one up from the £shop or make your own up. Also try Ikea for cheapo kitchen tools, wooden spoons etc. Or Dunelms if you've got one by you.0
