Custom installation on macbook

i need to install photobooth on the mac as it does not work, is it okay to use the disk and install as i do not want to lose any of the pics and tunes already on there, i presume the disk will allow me to select photobooth and nowt else

What I gather is you have a working macbook and wondering if you can install photoshop without any data loss

You don't have a working mac, and I'm not sure what your asking.0 -
Photobooth can be installed from the installer disk separately.0

Just go to your last Time Machine backup that had a working version of the application and restore it.0
