British Gas - Unable to register Nectar card

Any one else having this problem?
I've been trying for weeks now to register my nectar card but every time I log on to my account I get this message:

Oops! Our system is having a bit of trouble

Unfortunately we can't access your Nectar account details. Please give us some time to fix the problem and come back to this page a little later

    Telephone them, there are some accounts which there is a problem with, and have to be done manually.

  • Thanks. I have done. They said they would sort it out. That was around 3 weeks ago !!

    Believe it or not, I registered in February and am still waiting! :mad:

    I have the same online message as you and have rung them every month to be told there is still a technical issue and they have a huge backlog to clear when it does get fixed (so it's not fixed yet then).

    I've also just asked why British Gas haven't sent out a letter, etc to me and others to explain what's going on - no answer. After 5 months of waiting, what is the technical problem - no answer. When will it be resolved - no answer.

    Every business has technical glitches but it's the lack of information that really annoys me.

    Mine finally got registered last week but I still have problems as I cant get the extra points for duel fuel.
    We have a duel fuel account but the gas is in my name and the eleccy in hubby's.
    Its confused their computer. Computer says no.........!!
