I had to get mine posted too. However boots do 500 g boxes of bicarb. it works out a little more expensive though. Not sure about citric acid- try home brew shops as for some reason i have it in my head that its used for something in brewing but dont know what.at least if you get bicarb from boots the postage may be cut if you are just getting citrc.0

Don't know if you're still in need but there's a Wilkinson's in Aldershot which I went to (for the first time) today - they do larger boxes of bicarb and also little cartons of citric acid (50g) so I guess it depends on how much you need!0

A lot of our local chemists stopped selling/displaying Citric Acid crystals because drug users use them ~ so a local chemist told me. You probably need to ask at the counter for them.0

As I understand it it's used with Heroin to make it better to take (not sure how) - it's not that it's taken as a drug by itself0 -
There is a lot of information on Google but essentially, "Base Heroin" is not very soluble and is therefore mixed with an acid to make it soluble and suitable for injection ( After being filtered through a fag paper) It seems that Citric Acid causes the least tissue necrosis.

Don't think I'll be putting it to the test but thanks for the info anyway!
