Ipswich Building Society Regular Saver - Standing Order details help

Hi there,
I just recently opened an Ipswich building society account and deposited my first £250 with a cheque upon opening (done via letter).
I now want to set up my regular saver (as requested in their welcome letter).
However, it is not clear to me what sort code/account number and reference I should use.
The letter says the following:
- Society account number (9 digits, and changed for example purposes):
650834170
- Bank Sorting code: 234448 (6 digits)
- Credit account number: 00004000 (7 digits)
Could someone please confirm if I am supposed to pay using the last 2 numbers shown above (7 and 6 digits) for account number/sort code, using the 9 digit number as the reference field?
OR, am I to somehow pay directly to the 9 digit reference field number... which is 1 digit too long (as with A&L account)... in which case, which digit do I drop?
Just thought i'd check with anyone that already uses them.
Thanks...

For the sort code input 234448. In the account number box input 00004000.
In the reference box input your 9-digit 'Society account number'. You should find it on your 'Request for standing order for payment to Ipswich Building Society' form. I set mine up online myself. My first SO payment has arrived without problem.
From my post in the thread: "Ipswich reg saver - setting up standing order? (which acct no?)"..Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

Oops, right you are. was tired and counted the numbers incorrectly... I ofcourse meant 8.
Thanks all for the confirmation.0
