Balance transfers to Bank Accounts

All the credit cards i've applied for recently seem to say they don;lt transfer to bank accounts,l i.e. they'll only transfer to another credit card. Is this the case? Is there any way around it?

Yes this is a so called super BT.
Get an egg money card. MBNA do it too (with a fee).

I did a balance transfer to another credit card that had no balance on it so I was in credit. The comapany then transferred the credit balance bak into my bank account free of charge

I have a Marbles card and you can BT to your bank account as they send you cheques. There are a few others that do this too, not entirely sure which.
