Nationwide Default

Hi, I have a default on my credit report from NationWide, It shows as satisfied, but they keep updating it every month as a default so it will never be removed. Are they allowed to keep updating it even though it has been satisfied? If they arent what should I do, and if they are allowed to keep updating how do I stop them from updating it?

It would have been satisfied in 2008 sometime. but the last time they updated my report was 13/02/2011

Defaults stay on your file for a total of 6 years here in England whether satisfied /settled or not

i am aware of that, but what im saying is they update it every month, i have another default but they havent updated it since i paid them. Nationwide update it every month so it looks like a new default every month.

The date on which it is updated doesn't matter and is immaterial.

The only important things you need to worry about are the

    DEFAULT DATE

    and CURRENT BALANCE: SATISFIED

As long as those are correct you can safely disregard the UPDATED FOR PERIOD TO: date :o

The default drops off six months from the DEFAULT DATE, not UPDATED TO: date.

    He means years :D
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂
