    Norwich and Peterborough do too
  • and also Lloyds TSB
  • Coventry have a Freepost (2nd class) address for cheque deposits (although I do not recall for certain if they provide the actual prepaid envelopes).
  • Although the pre-printed/paid envelopes are no longer available Smile still provide a Freepost address for sending cheques using your own envelopes.

    Q. How do I pay cheques in by post?

    A. Send them to smile, FREEPOST NEA 14877, Northampton, NN4 7BR, remembering to include a completed smile paying in slip. For full details of cheque clearing times please see the cheque clearing cycle

Surely you're not going to choose a current account based on whether you get free postage paid envelopes or not?

It might be a nice bonus to have them, but they are hardly essential, and there are much more important factors to take into consideration when choosing an account.
  • Most banks will allow you to send cheques direct to the branch with a completed paying-in slip.
    David :)
£1 of debt is too much for me!
