Can't find my spare key

I'm supposed to be trading my car in this week and have just torn the house apart trying to find the spare key but I can't find it anywhere.

Are they likely to make a fuss if I only hand over one key?

No, not unless you have told them that it has 2 or more keys.

Probably. The assumption on the valuation is that it has a spare key. The cost of keys these days is quite high, due to the time it takes to code them. Don't be surprised if they reduce the value of your part-exchange. Ether that, or it might go unnoticed.

I've only had 2 keys for a car twice, I think. I've never mentioned it when selling, and don't think it affected the sale.
