One account for paper statements

As people don't tend to accept printed statements as proof of ID - I keep one account (barclays) as paper statements - so I get one every 3 months and throw the old one away so I always have a proper paper statement within the last 3 months to show if I need to
does anyone else do this too?

No, I still like to get paper statements and would rather get bank printed ones then rely on my printer.0

No, my council tax bill always works as proof of address for me - and most places just specify 'most recent' council tax bill rather than past three months.0

Ask the council to put your name on the bill then.
In my house all of us (although unrelated) are on the bill, which means any of us can use it for proof of ID.0
