can i ask whats so bad that you want to cancel and lose all that money?
if you have read bad reviews about the hotel/resort etc i would take a chance rather than losing money
Honesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
    you are on!

if i had known then what i know now!

As they are part of TUI group there should be no problem in choosing a different holiday and moving the deposit onto the new holiday and just paying amendment fees. I have done that before with First Choice. You could therefore find a cheaper holiday or one later in the year and then not lose your large deposit.
