my credit card doesnt appear on my credit check

I am on Barclaycard. I just got my "free" credit check thru equifax but everything appears except for my CC.
Might not be a bad thing as last year there are a few times i had a few late payments but always settled so should be "green" on my check; but i also know that would boost my score (fair atm) if they knew i had a CC.
I am trying to consolidate loan/CC/overdraft under one loan with a cheaper rate than those rip-offs at Barclays who charge me over 25% APR, int rate etc (no PPI) and would rather pay a global loan at 13/15% so i can rid of this CC mainly, which puts me in a financial nightmare so i need to "look" good... do you know why my CC is not on my credit profile?

Possibly the way the address Barclaycard hold is not formatted in exactly the same way as it is on your Equifax credit file?

Any slight deviation can cause the agreement not to appear on your file. Also, how long have you had your Barclaycard?

thanks peeps, i think your right re addy, the staff obviously never took my change of address 1 year ago! dont trust paper requests and bureaucracy! i just did online. thanks again!

Ahh nice & simple. Good. It will take 6-8 weeks for this update to reflect on your credit file though so hold off appying for your consolidation loan until May

Come may, it is worth looking at Zopa for the loan, if you pass their credit scoring the rates they offer beat the living daylights out of the rates actually offered (not advertised, offered) by high street banks :beer:

HSBC wanted to charge me 18.9% for a loan the same size that Zopa are charging 12.9% on. Go figure.
