House leak - dryer rental?
Comments

Downstairs the back of the house is open plan so the kitchen runs through into the dining room and utility so those rooms were all the worse affected. The hall was bad as the water had run down there, only seeped into about a foot into the living room. Upstairs it was only a small part of the hall and the small bedroom.
I will include a humidity monitor in on the quote and look at hiring 2 for a min of 1wk. The heating is on constantly and windows on vent to try and help the situation.
Thanks again for your assitance with this!0 -
A week will probably be insufficient. I have been involved in projects where dehumidifiers have been installed in a place for 4 weeks.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Just popped into HSS and got a quote for the industrial sized dehumidifier and damp meter, initially on a one week hire with the option to extend if necessary and I'm about to send it over to insurance company.
Thanks again everyone, I wouldn't have known where to go with this issue without asking.0 -
