LLoyds TSB - incorrect change of address

Well, I am so mad today!

I've only used my credit card a couple of times since I took it out 2 years ago so I check my statements when they arrive but otherwise don't take much notice

I realised on Friday night via my online banking that I owed a payment by today so I set up a transfer from my debit card which left my account but I have been told will not arrive on time

I rang today to see why I had not had a statement for this and was told that my statement had gone to my previous address. This is their error as I have been getting all statements to this address since I moved 18 months ago, and she could not explain the error, and I have to go in with documentation to prove my new address - I wonder if they will accept their own previous statements!

It is likely that I will be charged for a late payment, but she could not waive it and I have to wait until I get my next statement and then have to write in to see if they will waive it. I can't get to my bank today - (another annoyance, as the leak repaired by severn trent, has only made the leak much worse and they are coming back out today)
