What happens if you don't want a mortgage?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

How do people deal with this situation without actually saying ' you are a liar and I am not using your hired mortgage monkey,as that can't help the situation.0

I have read the comments. I am just not sure that reminding people that their request to make you see a broker of their choosing before offer submisson is not legal is helpful. I suppose I haven't got a sales personality - but if someone reminded me that I had been caught in an untruth , I 'd find the situation difficult. How can you deal with someone that you have caught lying to your face. I have to deal with some terrible lying saleman at work and always try to go down the 'win/win perhaps you misunderstand me route' as waving contracts in peoples faces hasn't solved much in the past.
I'm not critiquing peoples approaches , I guess there maybe isn't a right way to do it.0 -

We were in this situation a few years ago. The E.A. even came out with rubbish like it is a legal requirement under money laudering regulations.
Although my wife was emotionally attached to the house we wanted to purchase we just walked away. As we found out, there is always another and better house round the corner.0
