Hi All,
I hope someone is able to help with this?
I am looking to purchase a flat and wish to replace the storage heaters with a more cost effective modern alternative. Any ideas?? Type and overall cost???
I cannot install central heating as there is no gas supply
Thanks!

1st - Gas central heating. Around 3.5p/kw
2nd - E7 storage heating. Around 5p/kw but the peak/boost rate could be 14p/kw
3rd - Standard rate electric heating. Very cheap to install. Around 12.5p/kw
4th - ASHP - Noisy and expensive to install but around 5p/kw on standard rate depending on COP.:footie:
