I bought these too. 2x in crumbs and 2x in batter and BOGOF worked for both.

I meant cod is a pure white fish. Pollock has flecks in it. I can easily tell pollock from cod. I went into a chippy in Wales and the server assured me the fish was cod. When I cut into it there were brown flecks in the fish. I took it back as I had been lied to. I can easily tell them apart. But as I said earlier - why knock people who don't like it? good buy for any who likes POLLOCK - but I don't and neither do I eat fish fingers. There is also Monkfish which they also try to pass as cod. End of.

Then perhaps it maybe best if you cook it for yourself so that you really can be sure. :)
