Sorry will try and remember all the questions asked.
I did controlled crying for 3 weeks solid. PUPD I tried for 1.5 weeks.
He has a dummy, but refused it for sleep or when upset. Just pulls it out and plays with it.
Todays cranial was his second sessions.. he seemed more settled after it and has been asleep in his cot since 6.20pm.. so fingers crossed its helped.
A lovely nursery nurser came round every week when he was younger and taught me baby massage.. I do try and keep up with this, but most times he screams so much and gets so tense I cannot do it.
Paracatamol and ibruprofen do not alter anything.. even if given together (which I did a week ago as advised over 24hrs by the gp because he had a very high temperature).
I am trying hard to stay sane until the 17th when he has his first appointment at the dietician. But I know it is likely they will do anything at all at the first appointment so trying not to concentrate on it as my solution.* Mummy to my 2 gorgeous and amazing boys *0 -
Hello again, if you have stuck with the controlled crying for that long with no results then I would think it must be either colic, reflux or something similar (although I''m no expert as just have my 1!)
Obviously you have been dealing with this for 7 months and it must feel like you don't know what to do / try next for the best. It's easy for us as outsiders to think we have all the answers but we aren't in your shoes. I really don't want you to feel that it's anything you are doing wrong as I know this has been the case with some of my friends.
Please try and get some sleep while your son is asleep. Whereabouts in the Country are you? Do you get to any mums groups at all?Staring point of debt £23,343:mad:
