Cheshire Oaks Outlet

Just wondered if anyone had been and if it's any good.

I've been but years ago so can't really remember it, just know at the time my mum thought it was the best outlet we'd been to. I went to the outlet at York recently and was disappointed but like the look of more stores here Oasis, La Senza, Jane Norman etc

What does everyone think to it?

Sorry, if this is posted in the wrong place!

    Hi Jenny

i am a regular visitor here - i love NEXT, M & S, Clarks, Gap and all the outdoor walking/hiking shops - you definitely pick up a bargain.
You used to be able to get a 10% discount card from the information office on site - im not sure if this is still the case or if it was just an offer at the time - but worth checking if your planning a big shop.
    enjoy.

You can go on the Mcarthur glen website which is the owner of the outlet stores and see the directory and if anything interests you?

    thanks for the info guys.

Seems like it gets generally good reviews compared to the York outlet.

    Are the discounts big?
  • I live about 20 mins drive from there, and for me it can hit or miss, not as good as it has been, this weekend I spent in York, and parked in the outlet village there, and omg how expensive is it!!, cheshire oaks is much cheaper, but cheshire oaks tends to have last season's stocks.

If you go expecting not to get much, then whatever bargains you get will be a plus.

Sorry to resurrect this rather old thread but has anyone been to The North Face shop here and have any opinions on prices/items etc?

I live in Edinburgh but travel to Lancashire area for work every week and it's just a 40 minute drive further south. Would just like to know if it's worth my time or is it all very old sale stock that no-one wants?

    Thanks!

It is very "hit and miss". I have come away from Cheshire Oaks with 6 bags full of clothes and come away just having had a good lunch. Try to go when it is less busy (Monday morning is perfect). It is very much high street brands and not much 'higher end' designer (unlike say Bicester Village).
  • I'd also say 'hit and miss.' When I do go (rarely) it never seems to have that much. Or the better stuff isn't discounted that cheap.

I still ended up paying £30 for a normal pair of trainers...i could do the same on the hight street.
