i recently purchased a small shortwave radio in hong kong. it came supplied with a european standard 2-pin plug power adapter like this Europlug - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia with the following detail on the adapter
input: 230v ~ 5-khz
output: 8v ~ 200ma 1.6va
can i use the above adapter with one of these? Schuko to UK Mains Adaptor : Travel Adaptors : Maplin
if yes, would i need to replace the 13a fuse with a 3a fuse?

Yes you can use one of those adaptors, or you can cut the 2 pin plug off and fit a standard UK plug with a 3A fuse.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0
