hi
cant phone insurance company until 9 am so wondered if anyone on here knows. dh reveresed into front wing of dd bf's car this morning, he has newly passed his test and is under the understanding that even if hubby puts it through his insurance his insurance will be affected too is that correct?

Only the "guilty" party's NCD will be affected. If the only damage is to the "innocent" party's car, then put it through the husband's insurance and there will be no excess for the bf to pay and claim back.
If you use insurance, then both parties need to inform their respective insurers, and it is likely the incident will mean a loading for the "innocent" driver. (As well as the guilty driver getting a loading on the premium if their NCD is unprotected that will take a hit too)0 -
hi, unfortunatly even if you donot make a claim and report it to your insurance your insurance will increase the following year.0

was more worried about dd bf's insurance rising, when this was no fault of his, looks like best option is to foot the bill.

My advise is foot the bill and dont tell insurance! this happened to me where my mum reversed into mine. My premiums have gone up. they say that im likely to claim again!!!0

Depends on the reg and the colour you want. Have a look around and PM me a price and I will see if I can get you them, ill put them on ebay for you.
Will need age of car, prefered colour, parts needed.
