Getting a wart removed from a dog - cost?

Hi
Rude Boy, our 10 year old lab/staffy cross has a big wart on his belly. We saw the vet about it just over a year ago worried it was a nasty growth but the vet said it's fine/nothing to worry about, just that some dogs get warts & some don't & as long as it wasn't bothering him then just to leave it.
Rudey's just started trying to scratch it, because of it's position he can't reach it with paws/claws or his mouth but it's obviously began irritating him. I just wondered if anyone knows roughly how much it would cost to get removed?
Thanks x

I think you need to go to a vet to ask that as it can vary by areas/by vets - Id also be concerned why he is suddenly finding it an irritation when it wasnt before. May be get it checked out again.0

Well my Scraggy is in on Monday for his teeth (he is having some removed) and also a wart or two removed so I will let you know what it says on the bill afterwards. Worth getting it checked though if it is irritating him. Scraggy has a red 'wart' on his leg that he keeps biting that is going to be analysed.I have realised I will never play the Dane!
Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!!0 -
The price will depend on the wart, its size and location. Ask your vet for a written estimate as they will vary. We charge ours on a time basis - the longer it takes to remove, the more you pay.0
