Hi

My mum is one of our creditors. As part of our IVA she is being included as a voter but has agreed to waiver her rights to a dividend.

Our IP wants a letter from her but I am unsure of what to advise her to put in to it other than '£x was borrowed in Feb of 2008. £x has been repaid. The money was borrowed to pay xxxxx'. Should she include anything other than the basics? My case handler is on holiday tomorrow and I really want to pass the info on to my mum so she can send it off as it is the only thing holding back the claim.

Any help greatfully received

Thanks.

  • I think you're on the right lines. Amoutn initially loaned to you, amount which has been repaid so far, leaving £x to be paid.

It would help if you have any bank statements either one of you could produce showing the money actually changing hands?
