More problems. No context menu Etc.

My system is now locking up having 'Cured' the infections that I had until the 4/3.
The right click on the blank screen does nothing except cause a message telling me that 'Explorer has encountered a problem and will have to shut down' which after closing, locks the computer partially but still allows me to open IE8 (as now)
Following the cleanup I was asked to let microsoft update the system which I did, but I haven't installed anything else.
I will submit this then run Hijack and come back with the log in the hopes that someone can help me to solve this.

Problem still there!
Point of interest, I have had AVIRA running at a set time and when it runs I get a total crash complete with blue screen.
I was about to remove and re-install the application when this problem came to light.

I think that we did come to that conclusion last time I had a prob so I shouldn't be surprised really.
A forced de-cluuter would do me good too but I'll have to see if I can avoid losing some of my faves.
