Weekly Flylady Thread 7th March 2011

No real flying done here today, just in CBA mood. Kids have stuffed themselves with pancakes so there happy, Rhys hates them.

CPN up today and hubby away fixing another fence, i really should do something more than the wm and dw.

Kids heading to a party soon and to be honest i'm glad it is the last night, sounds bad but i'm sick running the roads.

All after school jobs done but :mad: and to report that DH hardly has any daffs left (none have opened yet) thanks to MIL and SIL constantly disturbing the ground damaging the bulbs. But there was ONE snow drop that has survived, first time it has ever flowered despite me planting loads by DH's feet. It has made up my mind once and for all, Miss A, W and I will be getting some decorative slate and putting that on sometime in the spring so NO MORE messing by anyone with trowels after that.

Pancakes mixed and dinner on the go, pizza and sweet potato wedges. We will all be stuffed later, but that was what the kids wanted!

Shellysue is right lemanie - My toffee is a beagle, and harder work than both huskies :rotfl:although she's very cuddley and very loving.... however if there's trouble, she's in the middle of it A total character. She's also chief Charlie Chick tormentor (Who's not scared of her at all!)
That chick's doubled in size since last week :eek: I didnt realise they grew so quick. Fingers crossed (s)he'll have some friends this time next week.

LameWolf - If I were closer I'd bring you some cake Although I suspect it'll look like a right dogs dinner. (if it's anywhere near good I'll post a picture )
I wont be doing over the top food - but something that just lends a nod to the season and the holiday
We'll probably try to make it to the white horse near us or Avebury as we're only 20 mins down the road I'm lucky to have an understanding DH too :T

AnW'sMum (((hugs))) for the lack of flowering daffodils. Only the little tete a tete's are properly out here, with some full size others with yellow buds. Have been thinking of you all today.

Not so much flying done here, am having a fairly meugh kind of day. Nothing specific, but *meugh* all the same. Pancakes and banana bread made, DD eaten her own weight in sugar :eek: so we'll see how that goes! Am promising myself an early night.

oooo dippy will be thinking of you and OH. Everything crossed that it all goes smoothly.

Just had an email from the Dog-Sitting service. The elderly cocker spaniel, Honey, who was to come and stay with me in April went to the Summerlands at the weekend.:( I never got to meet her, but I'm sitting here crying.:(

Awww Lamewolf - I'm so sorry
It is terribly sad, my mama runs a dog sitting business and thats happened to her too. It really affects you.
She only told me about it and it had me in tears.

Honey will be running and playing in the summerlands - forever a playful puppy x

Tess-dog sends a little soft kiss and a (((hug))) for you.. I still cry whenever I think too long about my old Bonnie-dog. Her grave is almost flat now, and we've planted some bulbs on it. ((hugs))

i've folded and put away the washing, lights and darks.
Emptied and restarted the dishwasher.
Cleared the floordrobe
stripped the bed, need a bit of help turning the mattress, gonna steam it the duvet has been outside all morning... Keeping an eye out for starling poop
need to dust the nature space and sort the windows
hoover and pick up the snotrags from DH's bedside cabinet.

Made and eaten pancakes :T YUMMY. Not my faith but if you will mention them I'll have to have them And me veggie box people sent me a lemon to have with them ... be rude not to

What a great pic. I had a basset hound for many years, she was hilarious but boy are they a handful lol

Forgot eggs for pancakes, so was off t oMrt's to get some, OH said he would come with me, fine no problem there, however he says 'hope you are going dressed like that'....................I'm wearing jogging bottoms.............me yes, oh well I'll go on my own then, !!!!!! we are only buying eggs!!!
