    There is no legal requirement to alow him viewing during your tenancy.

    As a favour you could agree a small number of viewing times when he can bring people round, at times to suit you. Might help re the reference?

    We don't want to be unreasonable so it is only fair we do allow some viewings before we move out.
    We both want to be there when this happens (don't trust the estate agent - young and not very professional) as i'm away shortly until the 19th March so i think we will arrange viewings for evenings after the 20th.

    This is all abit scary - first time i've been in this position!


    Where we live is in very high demand so it will get snapped up quickly. We're trying to find another flat on the complex and it's so hard!

    Write to the LA and offer some specific days/times in the last fortnight of your tenancy - make it clear that you will be present at all viewings and that the LA letting himself in to show potential new Ts around is not an option.
