Is it worth getting all the extras when purchasing car insurance? Things like - personal accident cover, rental car etc.
Swift have a basic cover i was looking at thats quite a bit cheaper than the mid or advanced option but obviously doesen't come with the extra options.
Also does anyone know if swift are a good company?

Depends on your circumstances, if say you could not go without transport after an accident I would recommend that you take out the car rental option.
As for personal accident cover, does your employer provide you with private health care for example?? If so, you might not need this cover.
Everybody is different and the you can normally tailor a policy to suit your needs.0 -

In a word... No
They affect your NCD if you claim for glass
Use recycled parts on your vehicle and will only pay up to what their approved repairer would charge to repair a car. So if you take it to your own garage and it costs more... you better have a deep pocket
They're cheap for a reason and any company that can get you a quote in 60 seconds clearly isn't telling you a lot about the product or finding enough about its customer to really tailor it to your needs. Pay a bit extra and go to a decent insurer.
As per their policy wording:- Parts - "We may choose to repair your car with recycled parts"
- Damage - "If your car is damaged, we will use one of ourrecommended repairers to repair it. If you choose not to use them, may not pay more than our recommended repairers would have charged and we may choose to settle the claim by a financial payment."
- Glass - "Any payment for replacement of glass under this section will not reduce your No Claims Discount, (though at your next renewal you will no longer be eligible for any increase in your No Claims Discount according to our declared scale)" <---- If you have 4 years NCD for example and make a claim for glass but no other claims during the year, you will not increase to 5 years at renewal.
